It was meant to mock Him, yet it actually revealed the kind of King He is. He is humble, sacrificial, and willing to endure pain in order to rescue those He loves.”

This naturally leads to the heart of the message: “That crown of thorns was part of His journey to the cross. He was not defeated or tricked into suffering. He entered it willingly, because He came to carry our guilt and our shame. His suffering was not an accident. It was a rescue mission.”

You might say: “We were created to belong to God’s kingdom, but sin made us wander. We chose our own way and ended up far from Him. Jesus came as the true King, but He did not come to judge us first. He came to save us. On the cross He took our place, bearing the punishment we deserved. When He rose from the dead, He opened the way for us to be forgiven and to become part of His kingdom again. He is the only King who lays down His life for people who had rejected Him.”
